Callahan Mechanical has an experienced in-house Engineering & Design staff utilizing the latest 3D modeling technology, allowing us to produce 3D drawings for any project. This approach gives the customer a partner to work with throughout the design-build process and provides a single point-of-contact for the design revisions, budgeting, equipment selection, permitting, construction, and billing.

Callahan Mechanical has an experienced in-house Engineering & Design staff utilizing the latest AutoCAD technology (AutoCAD MEP 2017, Trimble DuctDesigner 3D®, and Trimble PipeDesigner®), allowing us to produce 3D drawings for any project. These capabilities provide us with greater quality control, assist in scheduling, estimate material layouts, reduce changeorders, and play a vital role in making us a leader in the design-build market.

RETAIL DUCTWORK & SHEET METAL FABRICATION

Callahan Mechanical excels in all aspects of commercial/industrial ductwork and custom sheet metal fabrication using galvanized metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Our full-service, state-of-the-art fabrication facility includes a computer-operated coil line and plasma table, spiral machine, Whisper-Loc and Cornermatic workstation, shears, presses and rolls which allow our skilled fabricators to produce quality ductwork in a very efficient way. 

Additionally, our fabrication facility is fully integrated with the latest 3D design software, enabling our Design Department to create detailed shop drawings and coordinate field installation drawings for our installers and customers.

PIPING

With decades of experience in the construction industry, our skilled crafstmen have installed piping systems in a broad range of industrial and commercial applications (Welded, HDPE Fusion, Mechanical Joint, Compressed Air, Hot Water, Chilled Water, Gas, Steam, etc.). Our large fabrication facility helps to control costs and maximize efficiency.

EXTRUSION, HEAT SET, TWISTING

Over the years, Callahan Mechanical has gained extensive experience in this manufacturing industry and is a veteran in the installation of Barmag, Neumag, Reiter, and Swisstex extrusion equipment. Additionally, we are highly experienced in the installation of Superba, Volkmann, and Gilbos heat setting, twisting & winding equipment. 

This equipment is very specialized, and Callahan Mechanical is an expert in the installation of all necessary piping (Dowtherm™, product lines, chilled water, steam, compressed air, etc.) ductwork and blowpipe (quench air, monomer exhaust, cooling drum & air entanglement exhaust, etc.) associated with these machines.
